Results

The index of ecological health of the waterways of the Fitzroy Basin increased overall in 2023-24 compared to 2022-23. During the same period, the condition of Callide, Comet, Fitzroy, Lower Isaac, Mackenzie, Nogoa, Theresa and Upper Dawson increased and the condition of Connors, Estuary Zone, Lower Dawson and Upper Isaac decreased

The long term trend of the Fitzroy Basin has seen a steady improvement in condition. The long term condition of Callide, Comet, Connors, Estuary Zone, Mackenzie, Theresa and Upper Isaac increased and the long term condition of Fitzroy, Lower Dawson, Lower Isaac, Nogoa and Upper Dawson decreased
