Results

The index of ecological health of the waterways of the Fitzroy Basin decreased overall in 2016-17 compared to 2015-16. During the same period, the condition of Callide, Comet, Connors, Fitzroy, Lower Dawson, Lower Isaac, Mackenzie, Nogoa, Theresa and Upper Isaac decreased and the condition of Estuary Zone and Upper Dawson increased

The long term trend of the Fitzroy Basin has remained stable in condition. The long term condition of Callide, Fitzroy, Lower Dawson, Lower Isaac and Nogoa decreased, the long term condition of Comet, Estuary Zone, Mackenzie, Theresa, Upper Dawson and Upper Isaac increased and the long term condition of Connors remained stable
