Results
The index of ecological health of the waterways of the Fitzroy Basin decreased overall in 2024-25 compared to 2023-24. During the same period, the condition of Callide, Comet, Lower Isaac, Nogoa, Theresa and Upper Dawson decreased, the condition of Connors, Fitzroy, Lower Dawson, Mackenzie and Upper Isaac increased and the condition of Estuary Zone remained stable
The long term trend of the Fitzroy Basin has seen a steady improvement in condition. The long term condition of Callide, Comet, Connors, Estuary Zone, Mackenzie, Theresa and Upper Isaac increased and the long term condition of Fitzroy, Lower Dawson, Lower Isaac, Nogoa and Upper Dawson decreased
