Human Dimensions

The term human dimensions refers to how and why humans value natural resources, how humans want resources managed and how humans affect, and are affected by, by natural resources management decisions.  Human dimensions reporting in the Fitzroy region commenced in late 2021 with an inaugural online community survey conducted with the support of the CSIRO as part of the Social and Economic Long-Term Monitoring Program (SELTMP).  Click on the links below to find out community perceptions from the 2021 survey, for the combined reef reporting area, and for the Fitzroy region specifically.
