Results

The index of ecological health of the waterways of the Fitzroy Basin remained stable overall in 2017-18 compared to 2016-17. During the same period, the condition of Callide, Connors, Mackenzie, Nogoa, Theresa, Upper Dawson and Upper Isaac decreased and the condition of Comet, Estuary Zone, Fitzroy, Lower Dawson and Lower Isaac increased

The long term trend of the Fitzroy Basin has remained stable in condition. The long term condition of Callide, Connors, Lower Dawson, Lower Isaac, Mackenzie, Nogoa and Upper Dawson decreased, the long term condition of Comet, Estuary Zone, Fitzroy and Theresa increased and the long term condition of Upper Isaac remained stable
