Latest Report Card out now
Continuing to benchmark the health of the Fitzroy Basin, Fitzroy Partnership for River Health launched its ninth report card this week handing down a low 'B' grade overall for the entire basin for 2018-19, up from a high 'C' grade from the previous year.

Fitzroy Partnership for River Health Executive Officer Dr Leigh Stitz said the slight improvement can be partly attributed to low rainfall conditions in the majority of the catchments, which results in sediment and nutrients remaining on ground, and not flowing into our waterways and impacting water quality.  To drill down and find out further detail visit our new website today - https://riverhealth.org.au/report-cards/.

New website showcases river health data

In a big day for the Partnership, a new river health website was launched today at the 2018-19 Report Card release to better showcase the abundance of river health data captured over nine years of reporting.  Incorporating information on our valued partners, detailed catchment and ecosystem health data as well as opportunities for community involvement we encourage you to explore it now - http://riverhealth.org.au

New animation video highlights river health

The work of the Partnership and our individual partners in creating a more comprehensive dataset on the health of the Fitzroy Basin is being highlighted in a new video available on our YouTube channel.  We encourage you to take a few moments to discover more about the value the Partnership is providing to our region and the Great Barrier Reef - watch the latest video here.
