Join us at the 2018 Tilapia Terminator and Wetland Care Day.

This great event offers you the opportunity to make a real difference and have fun in the process.

Tilapia are an invasive pest fish species and have been found in the Yeppen Lagoon. Join us for a day of fishing and other wetland care activities to help reduce the impact of this pest fish.

 

Activities:

  • Tilapia catch and dispatch
  • Water quality testing
  • Fish assessment and hotels
  • Waterbug Blitz
  • Bursary awards, lucky participant prize and more

When: Sunday 21 October, 2018

Time: 8:30am-1:00pm

Where: Yeppen Lagoon (access via corner of Normanby & Blackall Streets)

Morning tea and lunch provided.
