Results

The index of ecological health of the waterways of the Fitzroy Basin remained stable overall in 2015-16 compared to 2014-15. During the same period, the condition of Callide, Comet, Fitzroy, Lower Isaac, Mackenzie and Upper Isaac increased and the condition of Connors, Estuary Zone, Lower Dawson, Nogoa, Theresa and Upper Dawson decreased

The long term trend of the Fitzroy Basin has seen a steady improvement in condition. The long term condition of Callide, Comet, Connors, Estuary Zone, Fitzroy, Mackenzie, Theresa and Upper Isaac increased and the long term condition of Lower Dawson, Lower Isaac, Nogoa and Upper Dawson decreased
